It’s been days that I didn’t have a stable connection with my internet provider. I was desperate to have it fully fixed and finally they were able to fix it this Tuesday. Next problem encountered, the WinSpywareProtect virus! Geez! Until now I don’t know if I already got rid of it since I have already formatted my computer twice.

Anyways, I was able to check my current position for the busby seo challenge key phrase, I was on the 3rd page and now i’m back on the fifth. Wow, I only have a month left to catch up. I hope I could still make it! And yes, about the Page Rank, thank you Google for giving this blog of mine a PR3! It’s good to see that green bar! Hope I could gain a higher page rank in the next update.

I just changed my wordpress theme design. This one looks simple, neat and cool! I’m having a problem with my internet connection and will resolve it this week so I can catch up. It’s sad to see that my entry is already on the 5th page. Hehe! I really need to do something about it, that is why I am still up and working.

I need to research and review and evaluate. These things will help me pull my entry back up in its position.

This is one of the finest strategies in the world of SEO that everyone will agree about. First, Quality Contents, not just crap being published in order to have a fresh content on a blog or website. Creating a good content combines information and use of your targeted keywords as this is the main reason why articles are made. Quality Content doesn’t necessarily have to be long in order to stuff bunch of keywords. It just shows how much you are marketing it and beating the purpose of giving quality information.

Quality Strategy on the other hand should be a wise move. Since I have joined the busby seo challenge and them requiring us entrants to have a clean way of optimizing our sites, I should follow and not bend the rules. This is a learning process on my part as I should be careful on what to do and not what to do.

Buy doing these two steps, it will absolutely result to Quality Backlinks. It’s always an ongoing learning in the world of SEO. And I am ready to learn and apply these learning.

I don’t know what’s been happening with my link building and I am now currently on the 3rd page when I checked today at Google. Maybe I will see the updated result tomorrow or later tonight on the busby seo challenge leaderboard. August is already fast approaching and entrants in this challenge is growing!

Big crowd, big competition.. well, it’s big money. I have quite a few friends who have joined and have just joined and i’ve seen how they’re going in the race. It’s been amazing! You wake up yesterday having a big smile on your face and you wake up today jaw-dropped! Google can make you different faces in this battle.

I’ve read from the busby seo challenge forum that some are duplicating contents and some get ideas from your contents. It’s not quite surprising, it’s strategy. Got no ideas, get contents from the expert! Don’t hate the playa, hate the game. LOL! But I am not duplicating contents, I just read an article who based his contents from my contents. Well, let them be.

Yes, my entry is now on the fifth page. I’ve been into other commitments for the past few days and this is one of the reasons why it drastically went down. But hey, I’ve got a couple more days to be back at the top. I’ve got to prepare my special steps in order for me to be able to swing with the dance of Google. There’s a lot of work, work, work to do.

I need to make an outline of my strategies to make it all workable and attainable so that I could manage my time wisely and not compromise other important things. Bright idea! Of course after all the planning, it needs an execution. So i’ll cut this short for now and make myself busy.

“Up, up and away!” The phrase being famoused from the Superman comic book. The way he soars up in the sky until he can’t be seen by the naked eyes. But for me, it’s “Up, up and up!”. Why? Yesterday, I checked where my entry was for the Busby SEO Challenge and I saw mine from the 10th spot went down to the 17th spot because of the Google dance craze. I needed to jive with its music so I immediately made my move with my simple steps.

Yes, just simple steps in order for me to be able to dance with Google. Surprisingly, when I checked again today, bam! mine was already on the 9th spot! I think Google liked my steps. My entry was going “Up, up and up!” I will maintain and improve my steps in order for me to dance with the beat until the last day of this event.

Move to the left, move to the right, do some shake, shake, shake and you’ll go up, up, up! Enjoy the dance guys!

I checked yesterday the leaderboard to see whether my site continually went up or drastically fell down.  Between June 19 to 23 (20-22) I was not able to track my performance for three days. Last June 19, I was on the 20th spot! And then I checked yesterday, I went up the 10th spot! I was happy to see how I am performing.

But today, I checked the leaderboard again and found mine on the 17th spot! LOL! I think Google is doing the “cha cha cha” again! I was not disappointed though, I immediately thought of what I still need to do in order to maintain and push it all the way to the very top. This will run for 3 months and I have many more days to catch up, 69 days left to be exact.

Again, I also Google checked the results from Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. On IE, I landed on the second page, #16. On Firefox, first page. And guess what, #1! LOL! It’s a crazy dance between these two browser I guess.

Goal is to keep the trend up. Way up high ’til I reach the very top.

As I was checking the ranks of specific keywords on the internet, I tried googling on Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. It’s very surprising how the ranks differ.

I checked first on Internet Explorer and browsed where could the site be, I’ve seen it on the 3rd page. And then I checked on Mozilla Firefox and I didn’t even needed to browser ’cause I’ve seen the site on the first page at the 8th spot! Well, this was just a few days ago.

I checked again today using IE and have seen the site on the second page, 20th spot. I checked MF and the site is still on the 1st page, and now on the 3rd spot! How did it happen?

They say, Google has different data centers and they certainly would give different results. But between Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox I don’t know how.

Hi there! I just checked my spot in the official leaderboard of Busby SEO Challenge and seen my entry at the 21st spot! I am grateful with the result of what I am working on despite the pressure and busy sched. I know it’s not yet the time to rejoice, but it’s giving me a push day after day.

Many will have their own “techniques” unleashed in this battle of SEO. Many will compete as individuals(like me) and some as teams. Different strategies for different people. But whatever spot i may hit for the following days, August 31, 2008 will determine who the winners will be.

To all my colleagues in this journey, goodluck and hope we can meet and make friends in this circle. Take a break though.. Just enjoy!

At this moment, I have just seen my entry on the 3rd page! Wow! I am excited, delighted and grateful at the same time! Ecstatic, i guess isthe right word. Despite the busyness I have had for the past few weeks and even got a migraine last week, I still managed to keep up. They say, you can’t serve two masters at the same time, and that is true. You can not outweigh one from the other when all are fairly important to you. Time management makes a good sense, it will not cripple you.

I think I have been pushing myself to the limit now, and that’s what I want. Not compromising things though. Prayer, is very important. It’s my sword for all the battles that I have been encountering. I can’t separate faith, in all the things that I do. It is where all what I had and have right now came from.

In this “Busby SEO Challenge” battle, I’d be giving my best and focus on my skills! This way, I will learn and enjoy the rest of my journey. Chill out and goodluck to everyone!

I used the free wordpress blog when I joined the “busby seo challenge” but somehow I was not quite satisifed because my actions were limited. Aside from the buzz that google adsense is not working in the free blog, i can’t edit almost every part of it, from head-er to foot-er. So I just used my own domain to have it as a sub domain.

Nonetheless, I still used wordpress! It’s cool and stylish and web friendly.

Busby SEO Challenge - The SEO worldcup challenge for the year 2008. Started June 1, 2008 and will end August 31, 2008.

Yes, that’s me. I was informed by a friend of mine about this competition. The contest was organized by Busby Web Solutions in Australia. This is not limited to people who are only into search engine optimization but also to anyone who has a passion in this side of the world. May it be a veteran or a newbie, everybody is counted as long as the rules are being folllowed.

Aside from doing the kicks in the world of photography, I’m also into SEO. A lot of committments to be done from this side and from that side of my life. Speaking of the word “challenge”, it has been a challenging experience capturing the different angles of the face of the world and its people. It’s quite difficult and I am always in the learning process. And sometimes, I think I am falling short with the gadgets that I should be using. But like what they say, “it’s not the camera, it’s the photographer”. But of course, skills and gadgets makes two to tango.

With regards to SEO, I also have the SEO blood thriving in my veins. The skills I have and the information available from colleagues and the Internet, this will be another cup of milk for me. Busby SEO Challenge is my next challenge! I can say, “I am up for the (WorldCup) SEO challenge of Busby!” To all who have joined and will join, goodluck and Godspeed.
